I almost can’t even fathom the road Pursuit 31 has taken over the past 6 months. What started as a Facebook group to plan a WPPI dinner with other Christian Women has transformed into one of the most amazing, supportive, loving and giving communities I have ever seen. I never imagined in a million years that I would be traveling to different cities getting to meet and teach these incredible women in person. Just goes to show that you never know what opportunities will open up if you just have enough faith to take the first step.
All of our city stops (except New Haven which was based on family) are chosen because of requests we get from that area. So when Latasha Haynes asked me to come to Seattle I just couldn’t resist. I mean, I ADORE this girl! So any opportunity I get to be around her I will jump at the chance. If you haven’t met her, take it as a personal challenge to add that to your bucket list. You will not be sorry

Jump ahead to the planning stage… I get a phone call from Latasha and there was a quiet hesitant pause on the other end. ”Well…uh… I have this idea, but I’m not sure if you’ll think I’m crazy.” Obviously intrigued I continued questioning… “I promise. I WILL NOT think you’re crazy!” What proceeded made me squeal a little… okay, A LOT! And if I was in better shape, there may have been a cartwheel or two! ”I was thinking Candyland” she said. ”You know with like bright crazy colors and candy everywhere. I just wanted to do something fun.”
OH. MY. WORD. Can you say smitten? Yep. I’m totally smitten with her, and her brilliant ideas are just the cherry on top! Latasha seriously. Thank you so much. Thank you for your heart to pour out. Your heart to serve, and your friendship. You bless me more than words could ever say.
To give you guys a little taste, here is the Inspiration Board Latasha sent me for the shoot this morning! YUMMINESS!
